Please reach us at info@tiplings.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We adopt out neutered and vetted kitties. We do adopt out FELV and FIV+ kitties and we fully disclose, if they are positive.

Almost! As of 9/22/25. We are registered with the State of Maryland as a non-profit and we're getting our IRS Form 123 submitted and processed.

Yes indeedy and proud of it. We wouldn't be here without their support. They started Tiplings as a doing business as (DBA) on 5/13/22 and now here we are! All grown up and separated so we can each focus on our core missions. Helping Kitties but in different ways.

We have a wide range of sources including local to Frederick and Washington, County feral cat communities, shelters from Allegheny, MD, Berkely WV and Frederick, MD, other rescues like Jellybean Rescue, To the Rescue, community kitties from Capon Springs, WV to Alleghany County MD and in between. Our commitment is that 50% of the kitties we adopt out are sourced from a 100-mile radius to Frederick. We also have received kitties from Texas, Egypt and Kuwait. All our kitties are vetted and treated equally.

We only adopt out neutered or spayed kitties and most vets need a kitten to be at least 3 pounds for surgery, as a kitten typically gains 1 pound per month that equals 3 months, 3 pounds. They also need to be 12 weeks old to get a certified rabies vaccination, which Tiplings believes is very important!
